Laguna Hills, California – Holman Capital Corporation is pleased to announce that John Lewis has joined the company as a Senior Advisor in our Public Sector Finance Group. Mr. Lewis will use his extensive public sector experience to advise the firm on client management, public policy, product development, and capital funding strategies in the State of Colorado.
Mr. Lewis will work with our team of public sector lenders to provide equipment, facility, infrastructure, and energy financing solutions to our clients.
Mr. Lewis has served as the Finance Director for various governmental entities for the past 17 years, most recently as Finance Director for the City of Fountain, Colorado. John is a former partner of an international accounting and consulting firm, and a former CFO for a number of corporate organizations.
Mr. Lewis is a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs, the AICPA, as well as a number of various professional associations. He has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement in Governmental Accounting from the Colorado Society of CPAs. John is one of only eleven professionals to receive this designation. John served on the Government Finance Officers Association's Special Review Committees for both the Annual Consolidated Financial Report and Budget Award programs.
Mr. Lewis is a co-author of the “Uniform System of Accounting for Community Associations” and has been published on numerous occasions. John has served on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association.
Mr. Lewis graduated from the University of Denver with a B.S. in Accounting.
